The Puppet Power Movement: An Accessible Way to Boost Your Child’s Learning
Working with a puppet is not only fun but also creates a special bond between you and your child. Yet, for many adults, it feels like a big step to take. It doesn’t have to be complicated—in fact, it can be very simple.
The true power of the puppet lies in its unique ability to connect with a child, and that’s exactly what the Puppet Power Movement is all about. It’s about connecting in a sparkling, playful way and gaining access to a world that’s often closed to adults but open to a puppet.
I envision a network of playful and innovative (grand)parents, caregivers, and professionals who create a positive, nurturing environment where children can develop and thrive. For me, it’s clear that puppets need to be a part of this, simply because a puppet can often achieve things that an adult alone cannot.
That’s why I created the Puppet Power Playschool—a playground, a meeting place, a window into my world. It’s a space where I show you how it works and where you can practice all the playful tasks and exercises I’ve prepared for you.
You can be a member for as long as you wish, and the Playschool will help you feel confident and equipped with your puppet. You’ll know what you’re doing and why, and you’ll create your own toolbox full of ideas that work for your child.
The Puppet Power Playschool was designed to be accessible for every (grand)parent, educator, and professional, both in terms of time and cost. We work with short play prompts of around 5 minutes (the so-called “sparks”), establish a weekly rhythm—because both skills and relationships grow best with regularity—and offer you a membership for only $9 per month.
What Do You Get as a Member?
- Immediate access to the first “playgrounds” with instructions on how to best start your puppet adventure.
- Each playground includes several “sparks”—playful activities where you’ll use your puppet to engage in something fun with your child. Don’t worry; we’ll guide you through each step and make it enjoyable and effective. The playgrounds follow a structure, and you gain access to a new one each month, helping you grow in your role with the puppet.
- Connect with others in our Facebook group, where we work on a new theme each month and explore new ways to involve your puppet. Themes range widely (from seasons to self-reliance, friendship, language development, and more) and can be influenced by your suggestions. Together, we create activities that meet our members’ needs.
- Monthly Q&A sessions via Zoom or Facebook Live, where we play together and answer questions that come up in the group.
- Tips to Overcome Common Challenges with Puppets
All this for just $9, giving you a full month to try out the Playschool. If you enjoy it (and we’re sure you will!), you can continue. If not, you’re free to cancel—no questions asked.
Want more? That’s always an option. It’s up to you, but you have to start somewhere, and I believe the Puppet Power Playschool is the perfect place to begin.
Follow this link for a sneak peek into the Puppet Power Playschool and see how it works. The doors are open, and the first 300 members will pay $9 per month for as long as they remain members. After that, we’ll pause new sign-ups to assess whether we can accommodate more or if 300 is our maximum capacity.

The Puppet Power Playschool isn’t just a membership; it’s the heart of a movement. A movement that’s alive and in motion—a place where we work together toward a shared goal, where there’s room for vulnerability, uncertainty, and everything that lives within us. This movement lets us approach what we appreciate and what challenges us about ourselves, our children, life, and the world around us from a fresh perspective, aiming to provide children with authentic role models.
Role models we’re proud of—ones we want our children to emulate. That’s what the Puppet Power Movement stands for.
And the puppet? It’s there because it makes everything we aim for so much easier. You may not believe it yet, but trust me—that will come…
See you in the Puppet Power Playschool.
Till the next blog,
